Sightings (video animation, 2005-2007) exists primarily as a kind of lost work, in that it exists to be found by chance more than anything else. Composed entirely of my own arms shadowy movements, the separate motions are then edited into imaginary, puppet-like creatures, that appear briefly, in the form of a video projection. Now seemingly unattached from the rest of me, they are free to swim, fly, or run and be witnessed by those who happen to be there, in the right place at the right time.
